Love Can Conquer Anything

Nervous system’s

racing.

Amygdala’s

pacing.

It's not a fuss,

though it may be a mess,

or one could guess

it be something it's not.

Noticing every detail,

feeling every entail,

energy is often wafting,

stinking, and it is exhausting.

But there is white light

to block out negativity.

Must visualize it bold and strong,

grounding us down like gravity.

Like a circle, all around,

even amid the sounds

of spiritually dead batteries,

monotone, like factories,

there is still true light singing,

shining through the dust,

and that is why we must

join in harmony,

blocking out the discord

with a chorus singing free

from every tree to tree,

and every stump so grieving,

we cannot stop believing

that love can conquer

anything
